Fall nail polish trends
By now, you've probably figured out I'm a nail polish kind of a girl. I love trying different brands, colors and styles of nail polish. You may find me wearing a neutral one day and a neon green the next. Normally, I go with a solid creme polish. Maybe if I'm feeling a bit daring, I'll choose a metallic or a foil. I believe I even went all out once and tried a shatter nail polish. Many of the models at the 2012 Fashion Week were sporting glitter nail polish including those featuring fashions by designers Diesel and Alice + Olivia.
Glitter nail polish
Today I stepped totally out of my comfort zone and played with a gorgeous glitter nail polish called Arcoiris from Lex Cosmetics. Lex Cosmetics is a company that believes cosmetics should be fun and Arcoiris is definitely fun! The owner feels that make up lovers should be able to create the colors and products that they want and she gives them a way to do it. Arcoiris is Lex Cosmetics hottest new color this fall. Arcoiris is a gorgeous, multi-hued rainbow glitter polish that will definitely make your nails stand out.I used the Lex Cosmetics Arcoiris over plain gray creme polish to do a gradiant glitter effect. I love that the glitter pieces are both multi colored and different shapes and sizes. It makes for a much more unique polish look. Since the glitter is in a clear base, it's super versatile and could be used alone or on top of another color.
All Lex Cosmetic polishes are free of the bad three ingredients: Formaldehyde, DBP and Toluene. Every single purchase from Lex Cosmetics goes to benefit a different charity. If you purchase Arcoiris, 10% will be donated to lung cancer research. Lex Cosmetics Arcoiris can be purchased direct from their website for $10.00

ReplyDeleteI like the 'dipped' look, something new for glitter, to me. Also a fan of that mixture of glitter, the particular sequence is very trendy right now- so many companies are trying to replicate it. This looks like a very good version!
ReplyDeleteThat is so fun! Must share with my sister.
